SMU Gerald J. Ford Stadium & Heritage Hall
I worked as a construction project coordinator during construction of the stadium. I was specifically brought in to assist bringing the project back on schedule before opening game day. Duties included coordinating between contractors and the university, solving design problems, and reviewing and approving change orders.
Interesting fact: The field is below ground level and right at the water table line. A series of sump pumps continuously run to keep the stadium from becoming a lake.
